In 1967, the last year of the C2 “Stingray” Corvette series,
the standard engine was a 300 horsepower 327 CID V8.A performance engine, the L79 350 hp small block was the next step
up, and finally there were 4 big block 427 CID versions starting at 390
ponies and topped by the legendary L88 motor grossly underrated at 435
horsepower.This “Mid-year Vette” is one of 8504 coupes
manufactured in St. Louis with the L79 option – a 350 horsepower 327 CID
engine coupled to the a speed transmission. This
Sunfire Yellow coupe is a numbers matching Corvette that has been nicely
restored to as built condition, including the optional side mount exhaust
system, power brakes, special suspension and wood grain steering wheel.It has Coker redline tires on rally rims.
This
is an immaculate Corvette.It
is drivable, yet would fare well in any Corvette show.
The undercarriage is as clean as the topside of this Vette, and the paint,
interior, running gear, suspension, chrome and glass are in tip top
